AWARENESS AND OUTREACH MISSION

To maximize the positive impact we have in the lives of the cleft children, ABMSS strives to create knowledge and acceptance among general public. For this reason, we conduct cleft awareness camps in the rural pockets as well as in urban slums of India.
Our dedicated Project animators go far flung places, meet with the Anganwadi workers, ASHA Health workers, conduct awareness programmes in schools with the help of RBSK and SSA, public places to educate people about the cleft condition and tell them about our free cleft surgery services.

Our outreach mission is designed to bridge the gap for children and individuals who are unable to access cleft care due to geographic, economic, or social barriers. These missions involve traveling to remote and underserved regions to conduct medical camps that offer cleft lip and palate surgeries, along with associated treatments and counseling.
Beyond surgical care, our outreach teams actively engage with local communities by educating families, frontline health workers, and stakeholders about cleft conditions, the importance of early intervention, and the availability of free, high-quality treatment.
Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to equity in healthcare ensuring that no child with cleft is left behind in their journey toward healing, dignity, and a brighter future.
