AWARENESS AND OUTREACH MISSION
To maximize the positive impact we have in the lives of the cleft children, ABMSS strives to create knowledge and acceptance among general public. For this reason, we conduct cleft awareness camps in the rural pockets as well as in urban slums of India.
Our dedicated Project animators go far flung places, meet with the Anganwadi workers, ASHA Health workers, conduct awareness programmes in schools with the help of RBSK and SSA, public places to educate people about the cleft condition and tell them about our free cleft surgery services.
Our outreach mission is design to aim to provide much-needed support and medical assistance to individuals who are unable to access cleft treatment due to various barriers. These missions typically involves traveling to remote areas or underserved communities and setting up medical camps where patients can receive cleft surgeries, and other related treatments. The outreach mission also focuses on educating local communities about cleft lip and palate and raising awareness about the importance of early intervention and treatment. Through this initiative, we pivot to ensure that no cleft child is left behind in their journey towards a healthy and promising life.
